Artspace Living

I fell in love with with this space created by art gallery owners and antique dealers from Barcelona, Luis Sendino y Jacobo Valentí. I applaud them for converting this 18th century farmhouse into an interior that I find industrial looking yet warm and homy at the same time. It takes a lot of courage to leave bare floors exposed, walls smudged, and to decorate with well-worn distressed furniture that looks like it came from somebody’s attic.  Here it is all put together with style to create a unique look and let some exceptional art and decorative pieces speak for themselves.

To those of you who will travel to Spain this year: Sendino and Valentí have recently opened to the public Palau de Catavells, a renovated Catalan farmhouse filled with art and antiques. I know that I will be making it one of the must stop places when I’m next in Catalonia.
